Our Brand Story

At the heart of our brand is a personal journey - it's a story about empowerment, self-discovery, and embracing natural beauty. Our founders, sisters who grew up never truly knowing or fully appreciating their natural hair textures, embarked on a profound quest to redefine their relationship with their hair and, in turn, redefine beauty standards for themselves and future generations.

Raised in an environment where natural black hair was seldom celebrated or even acknowledged, the sisters found themselves conforming to societal pressures and damaging their hair with harsh chemicals and heat styling. It wasn't until later in life that they came to recognize the beauty and resilience of their natural hair and the importance of passing on this appreciation to their own children.

Driven by a desire to break free from outdated norms and embrace their authentic selves, the sisters embarked on a journey of self-love and hair acceptance. Through this transformational experience, they cultivated a deep understanding of the significance of loving and nurturing one's natural hair, regardless of texture or type.

Today, our brand stands as a testament to the transformative power of self-acceptance, resilience, and the enduring beauty of black hair. Through our products and our story, we strive to inspire a new generation to love and care for their natural hair from an early age, fostering a culture of pride, confidence, and diversity in beauty standards.
